I got the baked potato and added brisket. The brisket was very tender, flavorful, and the perfect amount of bark. The potato tasted fresh and not dried out even though I can right before closing. Service was friendly. The place was quiet.

The most southern and comforting place, not to mention the food is amazing. The owners are so accommodating and extremely sweet. Their kitchen and sitting area makes me feel so cozy and warm. It's fast become one of our favorite BBQ places. They pay attention to their customers and truly give good service, something so refreshing to see nowadays. The brisket is so soft and flavorful. The ribs are fall off the bone. The potato salad is a perfect blend. Absolutely delicious❤️

Ooooooh they are so delicious I got the Mashed loaded potatoes with brisket and it was Chef's Kiss .. I had the honor of meeting both owners and they were so sweet and nice . You feel the love when you walk on and you taste it in the food.... Def one of pearsalls tastiest BBQ spots
After a genuinely rough day, this steakhouse turned everything around for me. From the moment I sat down, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxing—exactly what I needed to reset. The steak was absolutely outstanding. Cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and full of rich flavor—it practically melted with every bite. You can tell real care goes into how they prepare their food. It wasn’t just a meal, it felt like an experience. What stood out even more was how comforting the whole visit felt. Good food has a way of changing your mood, and this place delivered that in full. By the time I left, I felt like a completely different person than when I walked in. If you’re looking for a place that delivers not just quality steak but also a genuinely satisfying, mood-lifting experience, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Oh my God... forget about it. Little Joe's just ruined barbecue for every other place I've ever eaten at. I ordered the barbecue expecting a good meal, but what I got should probably be classified as a religious experience. The meat was cooked absolutely perfectly. Tender, juicy, packed with flavor, and practically melted in my mouth. Then I took a bite of the potato salad... forget about it. Whoever made that deserves a raise. I'm pretty sure I would resurrect my mama just so she could slap me for not finding this place sooner. That's how good this barbecue is. Then I saw they had Blue Bell for dessert. Forget about it. They knew exactly how to finish the meal. The owners need to protect this recipe at all costs. Lock it in a vault. Hire security. Whatever you're doing, don't change a thing. This place deserves to be on the Food Network. Guy Fieri needs to pull up in that convertible and give this place the respect it deserves. If you're driving through Pearsall and don't stop here, you're making one of the biggest mistakes of your life. I don't care if you already ate. Eat again. Future generations deserve to know this barbecue exists. Little Joe's... forget about it. 10 out of 10.
Quite possibly the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The meat had flavor and didn’t need sauce but the sauce was excellent. The care and passion Joe puts into his bbq truly shows. I’ve had some of the top rated places in the state and I can safely say this is right there if not better. When you walk in you are greeted to excellent food and great people that truly appreciate and care for each customer that walks in the door! I would drive from San Antonio to come back here anytime.
If you’re passing through and looking for some damn good home cookin this is your spot. The owners are so nice and the food matches their energy. The ribs had a perfect bite. The chicken was salty and moist! So delicious. And the brisket was excellent. Smoky and rich. Definitely worth the stop. All the sides were made fresh and the bbq sauce tied everything together. I can’t wait to come back again.
